Kindness Shake: a website supporting international students in the Northern Territory
A website for a student-led not-for-profit in the Northern Territory supporting international students' wellbeing, employability and community connections.
Our approach
Kindness Shake exists to help international students feel at home in the Territory, so the website had to be friendly, clear and easy to act on. We started by mapping the two audiences the organisation serves — students looking for support and locals who want to volunteer — and gave each a direct path through the site. Calls to action are bold and consistent, so whether someone needs help with wellbeing or work, or wants to lend a hand, the next step is always one click away. We wrote content in plain, welcoming language for readers who may be new to Australia, and kept the site simple for volunteers to update as the organisation grows.
